Okay, okay...it's been a while...but have I mentioned that life with a baby and two full time working parents causes time to pass in a flash?  Wasn't it just time for Super Bowl 39 in Jax?

Andrew and I would do anything to freeze the outside world for a while and just hang out with Steven. He continues to be the BEST baby ever...he is so happy and easy going.

Christmas was fun, despite the nasty cold he had...he spiked his first high fever that week (104.2) - not fun.  Thankfully Motrin and Tylenol took care of it.  Andrew and I joked that he had baby mono because all he wanted to do was sleep.

He finally got around to cutting two teeth somewhere around Thanksgiving, I think.  He's working on his top two now and you can tell because his hands or whatever he can get his hands on are constantly in his mouth.  So, we're excited about the prospect of four teeth by his first birthday!

He is eating everything we put in front of him, in case you can't tell just by looking at the pictures.  Seems that he is a fan of green veggies, as whenever he has green beans or lima beans, he shoves them in using both hands as fast as he can...you'd think we never fed him!

Believe it or not, he's beginning to thin out a bit because he's crawling as fast as his little body will carry him.  He's getting good at walking around the furniture and walking with some hand support. He got his first pair of walking shoes from Stride Rite.  They are too cute, navy and orange.

His most recent milestone was pretty impressive to watch. He figured out how to open a lid on a box, take the blocks out and set them down and then pick them back up and put them in the box and then close the lid.  He must have done it 20 times.  If this skill keeps up, we figure he'll be cleaning his own room in no time!  (ha ha...I wish.)

I'm going to test out an alternative way to post the pictures...posting pictures here is painfully slow as it has to be done one by one.  So we're going to post them on flickr.com and you can just click here to see them. I'd love to hear if you like this better than posting the pictures on this site in the gallery.

We're gearing up for the first birthday bash...it's all about safari animals, as that seems to be his theme.
